14-year-old girl shot overnight in West Pullman, cops say – Chicago Tribune

A 14-year-old girl was wounded in a shooting outside her West Pullman home, Chicago police said.

Shortly before 1:30 a.m., the girl heard gunshots coming from the street in the 12600 block of South Lowe Avenue and immediately felt pain in her leg.

She was struck twice in the left thigh and was taken to Comer Children’s Hospital, where she was listed in critical condition, police said.

No one was detained, investigators were conducting an investigation.

A 14-year-old woman was in her home when she heard gunshots from the street and immediately felt pain. The victim suffered two gunshot wounds to the left thigh and was taken to Commerce by CFD in critical condition. No one has been detained, two precinct detectives are investigating.
