CHICAGO (CBS) – Chicago police have arrested a 23-year-old boy after he crashed into two cars in the East Garfield Park area on Monday night.
A police helicopter followed the Dodge Charger, which was heading north along California Avenue, just after 11:20 p.m. The driver of the Dodge Charger crashed into a Nissan and Kia Optima sedan.
After the accident, police said the driver got out of the car and ran onto the Eisenhower highway.
Another car was hit by an unidentified police car during the chase.
Three employees of the local hospital are being tested. A Kia driver was also taken to the local hospital in good condition.
Police confiscated two pistols and drugs from the suspect’s car.
