CHICAGO (CBS) – A man died after he was shot while sitting in his car in Albany Park, and overturned in the car on Friday night.
At 7:45 p.m., a 37-year-old man was sitting in his 2009 white Chrysler issue in the 4400 quarter on North Hamlin Avenue when a dark-colored car drove up and someone inside shot him.
The victim fled in his own car, but crashed into several parked cars and overturned.
The man was rushed to the Masonic Medical Center Advocate Illinois, where he was pronounced dead.
No one was detained late Friday night. Investigators of the Five Regions are investigating.
