CHICAGO — A man has died after he was shot multiple times Wednesday night while in the parking lot of a Walmart on Chicago’s South Side, police said.
According to the Chicago Police Department, a 51-year-old man was shot and killed by an unknown person in the 8300 block of South Stewart Avenue around 5:30 p.m.
He was taken to a hospital and later died, according to the Chicago Police and Fire Department.
Police did not say if any arrests had been made, but said Precinct Two detectives are continuing to investigate.
