Another very warm day for Central Illinois before winter sets in | Main stories
(WAND WEATHER) – A drastic change in weather is coming to Central Illinois!
Today we will enjoy another day of record or near record temperatures with temperatures in the 70s to near 80°.
A strong cold front will pass late tonight. A few light showers could accompany this frontal passage.
Friday’s maximum temperature is likely to be reached by midnight. Temperatures will reach 40 degrees for most of Friday.
It will be bitterly cold this weekend, with temperatures just above 30 degrees. Nighttime lows are likely in the teens and under 20s.
Although we will see some light snow on Saturday, the system could bring a wintry mix or light snow to Central Illinois Monday night and Tuesday!
