Chicago Firefighters are battling a 2-alarm fire in West Pullman

CHICAGO – The Chicago Fire Department is battling a house fire Friday afternoon in West Pullman.

According to the Chicago Fire Department, there was some sort of explosion reported to a two-alarm fire in the 12000 block of South Lafayette Avenue.

One firefighter was injured and in non-life threatening condition, the fire department said. It is not yet known if anyone else was injured.
