Temperatures at the level of early January are forecast including Saturday morning wind chills from single digits to near zero with winds gusting 35 miles per hour
This coming weekend will be the second coldest so far in 2023 and the coldest since late January

UPPER MIDWEST IN LINE FOR MORE SNOW FOR THIS STORM
Saturday’s flurry offers just a taste of the winter snow expected to blanket the upper Midwest with this storm. Areas of upper Michigan and far northern Wisconsin where snowfall will increase and continue into Saturday will see a foot to 2 feet of snow in favorable areas downwind of Lake Superior. That’s on top of a generous snowpack of 40 inches in Bayfield, Wis., and 34 inches in the Marquette and Munising areas of the Upper Peninsula.
