Four hospitalized after car crashes into Crystal Lake restaurant


CRYSTAL LAKE, IL — A car crashed into the front of a restaurant in Crystal Lake Thursday night, sending four people to the hospital.

According to the Crystal Lake Police Department, a Nissan Altima crashed into a restaurant in the 1500 block of Carlemont Drive in Crystal Lake on Thursday at 5:30 p.m.

The investigation revealed that a Nissan Altima was traveling westbound in the parking lot when they attempted to park their vehicle. For an unknown reason, the vehicle continued down the sidewalk and crashed into a building before coming to rest inside the restaurant.

Four people were taken to hospital with injuries ranging from serious to serious.

The driver of the vehicle was not injured.

No additional information has been received at the moment.
