International GM Johannes Larcher and LatAm GM Luis Duran among those leaving as part of Global Streaming Reorg JB Perrette – deadline

EXCLUSIVE: J. B. Perret has identified the leadership of his global broadcast team.

An performer who is the CEO and president of Global Streaming and Interactive Warner Bros. Discoveryreorganized its team and structure as part of a number of changes.

Among those leaving are Johannes Larcher, CEO of the international company, Louis Durand, CEO of LatAm, Sarah Lyons, EVP Product and Jason Press, CTO and Head of Engineering.

Earlier today, it was revealed that Brad Wilson, CEO and Vice President of the United States, global data, CRM and growth, will also go as part of these changes.

This comes after Deadline revealed that Tom Asheim is leaving the presidency of Warner Bros. Global Kids, Young Adults and Classic, and Bret Weitz, general manager of TNT, TBS and TruTV, are leaving.

“Difficult decisions need to be made when merging two talent-filled companies, and there is never just one way to organize or select leaders, but please know that I did my best to be thorough and thoughtful in building a team and structure leaders I believe are setting us up for victory, ”he wrote in an internal staff note seen by Deadline.

“This is the hardest part … these are extremely talented leaders, longtime colleagues and friends for many of you, and their contribution to the success of HBO Max cannot be overstated. Moving HBO Max from one to 61 countries and quickly positioning the service as one of the most sought after by consumers is an incredible achievement, ”he added.

Elsewhere, Meredith Gertler is becoming a leader in content strategy, planning, and editorial / merchandising, supporting Casey Blois and Perret, who work for HBO and streaming products. Lisa Holm goes on to report to Gertler, and Alison Farber – to the leadership of Holm.

Michael Bishara will lead the Digital Studios Group, reporting to Kathleen Finch, and is part of the Streaming management team. Alex Velen continues to lead the MotorTrend Group as president and GM.

Leah Hooper for EMEA, Jason Monteiro for APAC, Juan Solo for LatAm and Michael Bishar for North America, will be regional streaming leaders under Perrette, and will be part of the respective management teams of Priya Dogra and Cassie Keelie at EMEA, Cleve Schieg Gibbons in APAC and Fernando Medina in Latin.
