CHICAGO — The Illinois Department of Transportation wants to make sure all Illinois residents are prepared for the winter season.

They are launching this year’s Winter Weather Come Together campaign with the Illinois Tollway and the Illinois State Police.

The three organizations are holding a news conference Wednesday morning to provide safety tips and discuss their preparations for the season.
