(WGN) – Gerber has officially announced the winner of its 12th annual photo search.
The representative of Gerber 2022 is Baby Isa from Oklahoma. She now holds an important and honorable role on the Gerber Executive Committee as Chief Development Officer (CGO).
The company says Iza captivated the judges with her incredible happiness and bright, brilliant face.
Now Aiza will work with Gerber to help future generations of babies grow and develop. She will have the opportunity to serve as the official chief taste tester to taste and review new baby foods, as well as give “advice” to the Gerber executive team on what babies need in the future, the company said.
“Iza is a strong, amazing little girl who loves to interact with the world around her, and nothing will stop her. Her smile lights up the room and her laughter is irresistible, “said Merede Slish, Isa’s mother.” Before she was born in September 2021, we knew Iza was special, and she showed us it every day since she came in. We learned when I was 18 weeks pregnant that Iza would be born without a femur or tibia in her right leg.We hope that Isa’s story can bring more awareness of limb differences and create more inclusiveness for babies like her “Because, like Iza, they can also be and do whatever they want!”
In addition to the opportunity to be featured on Gerber’s social media and marketing campaigns during the year, Isa and her family were awarded a cash prize of $ 25,000, free Gerber products throughout the year, and a $ 1,000 CGO wardrobe provided by Gerber Childrenswear and a $ 1,000 gift card from ezpz on all Isa dishes and utensils during meals.
Iza loves to spend her days chatting with her 4-year-old sister Temperance, and enjoying the breeze on the street in the evening with her dad John. Her favorite dishes include Gerber sweet potato puffs and Gerber 1st Foods squash.
Her family says Aiza is a very happy child and she really enjoys playing with her hippopotamus and listening to soundtracks from her favorite movies.
Gerber will also donate $ 25,000 to Isa with a donation to support the March of Dimes maternal and child health programs.
