The extended outlook requires off-season heat with highs up to 80s and nearly 90 degrees this week, which are close to record high temperatures. This will be our longest warm weather since last October. Starting Tuesday, we will start to get much stronger if Tuesday and Wednesday at the end of the day there is a small chance of thunderstorms, but Chicagoland’s coverage is around 20%. The following weekend the temperature cooled in the 70s, which is still above normal.
