State Week: Abortion is central to the upcoming election

When a draft of the U.S. Supreme Court ruling went public this week, it sparked a fiery storm. The long-standing Rowe v. Wade ruling, which secured the right to abortion, appears to be close to being overturned.

What does this mean for Illinois, where some of the more progressive abortion access laws in the country apply? And will this topic be most in the minds of voters?

Our panel includes presenter Sean Crawford, Statehouse editor Hannah Meisel, Honored Professor Charlie Wheeler and Heather Cherone of WTTW-Chicago Tonight.
