Rockford, Illinois (WTVO) – Pastor of Rockford is planning an event for the benefit of the community.
The Baptist Pilgrim Church, 1703 S Central Ave., will hold a public job fair on Saturday. Employers strive to take up temporary, part-time and full-time jobs. Rockford Police and Fire will be represented at the fair.
Some companies will hire on-site and invite job seekers to bring resumes to the event.
“What we do is we look at the community, we try to help the community, we try to empower the community, we try to give people the opportunity to lead a wonderful life, and they can do it at least a lucrative job,” said Jonathan Williams. senior pastor of the Pilgrim Baptist Church.
The job fair is held this Saturday from 10.00 to 14.00 in the “Pilgrim”. Free childcare will be organized at the event.
