The iPod touch is now fully sold out in the US, at least in the Apple online store

Shortly after Apple announced this stopped releasing iPod touch, it didn’t take long until the current stock ran out. While existing devices may still be available to the masses through other sources, the device is no longer available in the Apple online store.

All six trims and three iPod touch storage models are missing from Apple’s website

At the time of writing, the iPod touch version is not available for purchase in Apple’s online store in the United States. It is unclear how many units were available, but given that there were six finishes to choose from, as well as 32GB, 128GB and 256GB storage options, several hundred would have to be removed from inventory.

Even if the iPod touch isn’t available on Apple’s website, there are other places that customers can look for, and it’s possible that luck will be on their side. For example, in physical Apple retail stores, as well as in places like Amazon. If luck is on your side, then you’ll have to make the most of it because it may take a while until the iPod touch becomes available in any part of the US, and soon in the rest of the world.

As for why customers are in a hurry to purchase one of these, then perhaps they want to keep the product as a reminder of the iconic product line that spanned two decades. Alternatively, these customers can purchase available stocks as a means of significant money if fully sealed iPod touch boxes start selling for large sums in places like eBay and other online markets, in a few years as collectors.

Apple says there are several options in its extensive product family, even if the iPod touch is discontinued. Earlier, the company said that the iPhone SE 2022 is available for $ 429 for calls and listening to music, and potential buyers can also purchase the iPhone 13 Pro Max high-end if their budget allows.
