Rockford, Illinois (WTVO / WQRF) – Due to the rapid rise in temperature across the state, many residents remain looking for ways to cool off. West Rock Wake Park is a great place to do this.
Started in 2014-15 by owner Daniel Jarrett after returning to his hometown of Rockford from New York. Jarrett wanted to open up a gathering place for the community, whether with friends, family or anyone interested in learning wakeboarding and water skiing.
It is expected that this summer the park will open a beer garden adjacent to the lake, as well as many activities for the public.
