Two people are dead after a six-car crash on Chicago’s South Side, fire officials said

CHICAGO — Two people were killed in a six-vehicle crash Wednesday night on Chicago’s South Side, the fire department said.

The crash happened near East 87th Street and South Cottage Grove Avenue around 5 p.m.
