Weather first alert in Chicago: almost record heat until Friday

CHICAGO (CBS) – The temperature rise this week will reach almost a record level by Friday.

Monday night the temperature will be 65 degrees, partly cloudy. Tuesday will be sunny and very warm, maximum 88.

A storm is possible on Tuesday night.

Wednesday will be mostly sunny, maximum 87.

Wetter conditions are expected from Wednesday to Friday with temperatures below 90.

The cold front this weekend brings thunderstorms. The normal temperature is 68 degrees.
