Crowds fill downtown for the Arts in the Dark Halloween parade

CHICAGO — Crowds filled downtown State Street Saturday for the Arts in Dark’s Halloween Parade.

The nearly two-hour Arts in the Dark parade, which celebrates Halloween as an “artists’ holiday,” showcased many of Chicago’s most talented creative forces.

Costumes, skaters, singers and more celebrated the last weekend before the holiday.

The parade was the grand finale of Halloween in Chicago in 2022.
