Heather Mack, who is on trial for the murder of her mother, loses custody of her child

CHICAGO — Heather MackA woman who stood trial for conspiring to kill her mother in Indonesia has lost custody of her child.

Mack served a prison sentence in Indonesia for aiding her boyfriend in the murder of Sheila von Weise-Mack.

her daughter lived with her in prison for two years and now she wants her child to be given to her grandmother.

On Thursday, a judge ordered the child be placed with a maternal cousin in Colorado.

Another conspiracy trial will be held in the US in July 2023.
