Human skeletal remains were found in the Libertyville building

LIBERTYVILLE, IL. On Saturday morning, police found partial skeletal remains inside a building in Libertyville and additional human remains in a nearby wooded area.

Police responded to the 1800 block of Hollister Drive around 8:15 a.m. after a report of partial skeletal remains.

According to the police, the incident appears to be isolated and does not pose a threat to the community.

This incident is under investigation and developing.
