Supernatural actress Nikki Aycox has died at the age of 47

(WFLA) — Former actress Nikki Aycox, known for her roles in Supernatural and Jeepers Creepers 2, died last week at the age of 47, her family said.

Aycox’s sister-in-law, Susan Raab Seklosky, announced the actress’ death on Thursday.

“My beautiful, smart, fierce, incredibly talented and loving daughter-in-law Nikki Aycox Raab passed away yesterday along with my brother Matt Raab,” she wrote. “Nikki and Matt had a great life together in California. She was definitely a fighter and loved by all who knew her.”

The deceased actress announced her diagnosis – leukemia Instagram in March 2021.

“I got really sick thinking I had covid in January and February,” she wrote. “Well, things have come to a head. I ended up in the hospital with a diagnosis [leukemia].”

Aycox played the original Supernatural Meg Masters, a character possessed by a demon.

Show creator Eric Kripke expressed his sadness at Aycox’s death on Twitter, saying she was “too young” to die.

“She was a joy and delivered lines like honey and poison,” Kripke wrote. “I’m amazed at how she made such a simple word as ‘inappropriate’ legendary.”
