4 injured after driver crashes into gas line building in Des Plaines
DES PLAINES, Ill. — Four people were injured after a driver crashed into a building Sunday afternoon in Des Plainesaccording to the fire department.
The crash was reported around 12:15 a.m. in the 400 block of Northwest Highway.
Des Plaines Deputy Fire Chief Matt Matzl said the driver of the SUV struck a building and a gas main.
The four people were taken to the Lutheran attorney general, Matzl said. Their conditions are unknown.
People are being asked to avoid the area due to a gas leak following the crash.
