4 shot, 1 dead in shooting at River North nightclub
CHICAGO – Four people were shot after a physical altercation at a River North nightclub early Sunday morning.
According to reports, around 2:10 a.m., a group of individuals were involved in an argument in the 300 block of West Chicago Avenue when two men fired shots.
A total of four people died, including a 30-year-old man who was shot in the chest. The man was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
A 24-year-old man was wounded in the leg and taken to the same hospital, where he is in good condition.
Another 30-year-old man was wounded in the shoulder and was also taken to the same hospital in good condition.
A 24-year-old woman was also shot in the leg, but is in good condition at the same hospital, police said.
Two weapons were confiscated at the scene, one person was detained.
Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
