A 15-year-old boy was fatally wounded during a shooting in the roadway of the village of Lyte
CHICAGO — A 15-year-old boy was found unharmed with a gunshot wound to the head in Little Village early Sunday morning.
Police say the boy was found in the 3000 block of West 23rd Street around 1:38 a.m., where he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Witnesses said an unknown person fired shots from a black SUV and fled the scene, according to police reports.
No arrests have been made at this time, and police are continuing to investigate the incident.
