A big warm-up on the road to Central Illinois before the temperatures drop | Main stories
(WAND WEATHER) – Temperatures in Central Illinois will be on a roller coaster this week.
Today and tomorrow we will be on the rise. With sunny and cloudy weather, the air temperature will rise to 50° today.
A strong cold weather ahead on Tuesday, it will be very windy and warm. Winds will be near 40 mph with highs and lows in the mid 60s.
There will be showers late in the day, and strong and severe thunderstorms are possible in the south and east in the evening.
Much colder winds will blow Tuesday and Wednesday night.
We could see a few flakes of snow mixed in with the rain before it ends Wednesday morning.
The maximum temperature on Wednesday and Thursday will be only about 30 degrees.
