Budzinski published a statement about his victory in the 13th district of Illinois Election 2022

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) – Nicky Budzinski has declared victory in the race for Illinois’ 13th Congressional District.

Budzinski made the following statement about the election results:

“I am honored to have the opportunity to represent the working families and communities of Central and Southern Illinois in Illinois’ 13th Congressional District. I look forward to working on their behalf. I’ve spent my entire career bringing people together to get results for working families, and I’m eager to build on that work in Congress. We have a lot of work to do – families today are struggling, and they deserve a victory in Congress that will focus on reducing costs so they can move forward.

“I am grateful to everyone who has volunteered and supported me throughout this campaign, and I am proud of the broad coalition of supporters who have pushed my race forward.
