(A hill) – Elon Musk has been named sole director of Twitter, dissolving its board of directors before it completes its $44 billion acquisition of the company, the social media platform said in a securities filing on Monday.

The Washington Post reported Friday that racist and anti-Semitic tweets quickly spread on Twitter after Musk’s capture.

Musk may also allow users whose accounts have been banned in the past, including former President Trump, to return to the platform.
