Hayley Bennett, Tom Sturridge and Sam Riley star in ‘Clico’ – term

EXCLUSIVE: Haley Bennett will play the main role in the film Click from writer Erin Dignam (Land, immersion) and Christopher Monger (Grandin Temple).

Directed by Thomas Napper (jawbone)the picture tells the story of the difficult journey in the early years of the Veuve Clicquot vineyard in the 19^thousand century in France and brings to life the charming young woman behind the iconic orange brand. The film is based on a novel The Widow Clicquot: The Story of the Champagne Empire and the Woman Who Ruled It Tillar J. Maceo. Production began in the French regions of Chablis and Reims on October 24.

Bennet will be joined by the cast as Barb-Nicole Ponsardin Cliceaux Tom Sturridge (DC Comics and Netflix Sand man, Irma Vep), Sam Riley (futureFirebrand, Maleficent), Leo Suter (NetflixVikings: Valhalla), and Anson Boone ( Pistol, 1917).

Christina Weiss Lurie ( belief) will produce alongside Bennett, with Joe Wright and John Bernard as EPs.

Bennett completed very recently The border and Dream magazine. Her authorship includesThe Rules Don’t Apply, Hillbilly Elegy, The Girl on the Train, The Equalizer, Till andSwallow which won her Best Actress at the Tribeca Film Festival.
