“I don’t mind, I think it’s funny” – Deadline
Jack Harlow had the whole game to roast himself during Saturday Night Live monologue. The “First Class” singer took the stage at Studio 8H and wasted no time making fun of himself. Watch the monologue in the video above.
“A lot of people said I was a goat,” Harlow began. “They don’t mean greatest of all time, they mean who’s from Narnia.”
Harlow continued: “I don’t know what it is about me, but people on the internet, they love to roast me. I don’t mind, I think it’s funny.’
The artist went on to talk about ‘one guy’ who said: ‘I don’t know why you think Jack Harlow is so special. You can find someone like him at any local gas station.”
“I heard them say, ‘I look like if you were trying to draw Justin Timberlake from memory,'” he said, prompting laughter from the audience. “I think my favorite is Jack Harlow looking like a guy who rips tickets in half at the movie theater.”
Harlow also took time to dispel “weird rumors” about him, saying he’s five-foot-ten or “other people think I was set up by the CIA.” He also warned kids running around dressed as him on Halloween to “cut it out because my culture is not a costume.”
He also mentioned during his monologue that it’s been a big year for him and he just finished shooting the film White people can’t jump as well as release his second album and embark on a world tour.
Harlow is the second host this season to pull double duty as host and musical guest in Season 48 Saturday Night Live.
