LIVE | A second Dom’s Kitchen & Market is opening in Chicago

CHICAGO — Local grocery entrepreneur Bob Mariano is set to open a second location for his newest venture: Dom’s Kitchen & Market.

On Tuesday, Marian will be joined by Chicago Mayor Laurie Lightfoot for a ribbon cutting in the Old Town area at 10 a.m.

The event comes just hours after sources told WGN that Lightfoot’s security were involved in the Northwest Side police shooting.

The grocery store billed in a company press release as “a next-generation omnichannel local food hub that offers Chicagoans a place to eat and shop.”

The new location at 1233 North Wells Street officially opened Tuesday morning at 6 a.m. and includes 12,000 more items than the Lincoln Park location. The release says that many of the new products are coming from Chicago and the Midwest.

The event will be streamed live in its entirety as part of this story starting at approximately 10am
