River Bluff Nursing Home is accepting applications for a new Board of Supervisors

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — A nursing home in Rockford is about to change after Winnebago County Board members approved the creation of an oversight board last week.

The new board will consist of 9 unpaid members. One of them will be appointed chairman of the Winnebago County Board. The remaining 8 will be members of the community with experience in areas such as health, social services, accounting and marketing.

The goal is to increase oversight of the nursing home, officials said.

Applicants should submit a letter of interest, resume and letters of recommendation to the Office of the Winnebago County Board Chair, 404 Elm St, Rm 533, Rockford, Illinois 61101 or by email to boardoffice@admin.wincoil.gov until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, December 2, 2022.
