The Fulton Market Association wants more police cameras in the area
CHICAGO — The Fulton Market Association is asking for 200 new police cameras in the area.
On Monday, the FMA released video of the shooting, which took place last month. The video shows a car driving between two stopped cars. Then several people get out of the car and start shooting at one car.
The association claims that the driver and passenger were inside. The passenger was injured.
The association wants 100 cameras to cover the Fulton market and the near west side. Garfield Park accounts for the remaining 100.
A meeting with the finance committee is scheduled for Tuesday at 10:00 a.m
