A cold front will move in Thursday evening
A cold front moving east through Chicago Thursday night will merge with the remnants of low pressure Nicole moving north along the West Virginia-North Carolina border Friday night as the combined system moves away from the East Coast and into the West part of the Atlantic Ocean on Saturday.
Temperatures drop sharply as a strong cold front moves through our area from the west around midnight, with readings falling into the 60s to 50s and 40s to 30s by sunrise on Friday.
