Ukraine: a flurry of Russian attacks on key infrastructure | WGN 720 Radio

Kyiv, Ukraine (AP) — Ukrainian officials reported Monday morning a massive barrage of Russian strikes on critical infrastructure in Kiev, Kharkiv and other cities.
As a result, part of the Ukrainian capital was cut off from electricity and water supply, its mayor Vitaliy Klitschko said. Officials also reported possible power outages in the cities of Kharkiv and Zaporozhye as a result of the strikes.
The attack came two days after Russia accused Ukraine of a drone attack on Russia’s Black Sea fleet off the coast of the annexed Crimean peninsula. Ukraine denies the attack, saying Russia mishandled its own weapons, but Moscow nevertheless announced it was ending its participation in a UN-brokered deal to allow safe passage for ships carrying grain from Ukraine.
