A man was shot at the La Quinta Inn in Lupe, Chicago police said

CHICAGO — A man was wounded in a shooting early Saturday morning at a hotel in Lupa, CNN reports Chicago Police Department.

The shooting happened around 3:45 a.m. at the La Quinta Inn near West Madison Street and South Franklin Street.

Two men were arguing when one pulled out a gun, fired two shots and shot the other in the leg, police said.

A 21-year-old man who was injured was taken to a hospital in good condition, police said.

Employees were called to the scene Special forces officers to look for the shooter, but later learned that he had left the hotel.

No one is in custody and investigators are continuing their investigation.
