(NBC Chicago) — A plane bound for Europe from Topeka, Kansas, made an emergency landing Monday afternoon at Chicago O’Hare International Airport.
The Atlas Air charter Boeing 747 was headed to Poznań, Poland, but at approximately 3:49 p.m., it was diverted to Chicago for an unknown reason.
Pictures posted by Sky 5’s Mike Lorber on Twitter showed several dozen people in military uniform who appeared to be evacuating the plane. As shown in the video, three buses arrived for the people.
Additional information about the crash landing, including whether there was any damage, remains unclear.
