Apple is considering 5.7-inch to 6.1-inch display options for the 2024 iPhone SE 4

Apple plans to release its fourth-generation iPhone SE in 2024 with significant design changes. We’ve previously heard that Apple is looking to adopt an iPhone XR-like design. Now we hear that Apple has yet to decide on the display size for the iPhone SE 4. A well-known analyst suggests that the company is mulling over various decisions regarding the display size and material for the next iPhone SE.

Apple still undecided on display size and material for 2024 iPhone SE 4

Display analyst Ross Young shared in a tweet with its SuperFollowers that Apple is considering 5.7-inch to 6.1-inch display options for the iPhone SE 4. At this point, it’s unclear whether the company will opt for a 5.7-inch or 6.1-inch display. In addition to this, it is also unknown whether the device will use OLED or LCD technology.

Note that if Apple chooses OLED technology for the iPhone SE, it will be more expensive. Apple’s flagship iPhones are equipped with an OLED panel, and the iPhone SE is the only model with an LCD display. This isn’t the first time we’ve heard details about the display specs for the iPhone SE 4. We’ve previously heard that the fourth-generation iPhone SE will have iPhone XR-like design.

Although Yang is not sure about the size and material of the display, he said that the iPhone SE 4 will have an all-screen design with a notch. However, it’s unclear whether the company will bring Face ID to the “SE” lineup. Another possibility is that the company will integrate Touch ID into the power button, similar to the iPad Air and iPad mini 6. However, it is too early to draw any final conclusions as the iPhone SE 4 is scheduled for release in 2024.

That’s it folks. We’ll keep you posted on the latest news, so don’t forget.
