Christine Miliotti stars as Sofia Falcone in The Penguin. Colin Farrell – Deadline

Made for love a star Christine Milioti returns to HBO Max as the female lead opposite Colin Farrell in the original DC drama limited series Penguin (working title), Matt Reeves spinoff Batman.

The series expands on the world Reeves created for the Warner Bros Pictures blockbuster and focuses on the character played by Farrell in the film.

Miliotti will play Sofia Falcone, the daughter of Carmina Falcone, played by John Turturro in the film. Sofia battles Penguin (Farrell) for control of the city.

The character was prominent in the Fox series Gothamwhere Sophia was played by Crystal Reed.

Penguin executive producer – Reeves; Dylan Clark; Farrell; Lauren LeFranc, who writes and serves as showrunner; and Craig Zobel, who directed the first two episodes.

Based on characters created for DC by Bob Kane with Bill Finger, Penguin produced by Reeves’ 6th & Idaho Productions and Dylan Clark Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television, where Reeves and 6th & Idaho struck a joint deal. 6th & Idaho’s Daniel Pipski also serves as an executive producer, with Rafi Krohn as a co-executive producer.

Palm Springs star Miliotti plays the female lead in the thriller series Peacock Resort, which is awaiting a decision on whether to renew for season 2. She is repped by UTA and Untitled Entertainment.
