Report: Chick-Fil-A is coming to Avondale
CHICAGO — Avondale is set to get the city’s last Chick-Fil-A restaurant.
According to A report by Block Club Chicagothe fast-food chicken restaurant will be located where the New China buffet used to be, near the intersection of West Addison Street and North Alston Avenue.
According to the report, city documents show the chain received a city building permit in late October and does not require approval from the office of 35th District Chairman Carlos Ramirez-Rosa because it operates within existing laws and zoning parameters.
The Avondale Chick-Fil-A will be the tenth such location in Chicago when it opens in the spring, according to the company’s website.
