The Decatur Club will host its annual Thanksgiving Brunch | Main stories
DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) – When the doors open at 11 a.m. Thursday, it will be 139thousand while the Decatur club was hosting its annual Thanksgiving brunch.
“Starting next year, we have been doing it for 140 years. I think we missed three Thanksgiving brunches in that time,” Decatur Club CEO Jeff Ingle told WAND News. He expects a large crowd in the already sold-out downtown. “Usually 200 to 225. So, a good crowd.”
This year’s menu includes slow-roasted Amish turkeys, glazed ham, rosemary Dijon pork medallions and chicken Marsala. Omelets, sausage patties, fried potatoes, Western-style scrambled eggs, and apple-smoked bacon can also be made to order.
