Watch Bears-Cowboys preview on “The 9-Yard Line”
CHICAGO – It’s been quite an eventful week for Monsters of the Midway for a number of reasons.
First of all, the team is coming off its most complete win of not only the 2022 season, but probably in the past few years as they outscored the Patriots by 19 points on Monday night.
Two days later, another big story happened when quarterback Robert Quinn, a Pro Bowl selection and All-Pro runner-up in 2021, was traded to the Philadelphia Eagles as a second-round pick. The blockbuster deal sent shockwaves through the NFL and prompted a backlash from Bears quarterback Raquan Smith.
After all, Matt Eberfluss’ team has a game to play as the Bears travel to Arlington to take on the Cowboys at AT&T Stadium at noon on Sunday afternoon.
“The 9-Yard Line” prepares you for this contest as we take a look at the major storylines ahead of the team’s eighth game of the season. After Quinn left, Eberfluss had to deal with the consequences of losing a key player and prepare to find a way to replace him on the defensive line.
Meanwhile, the offensive line is looking to replace two more starters on the offensive line after an impressive game in which Justin Fields produced several engineered runs.
CHGO’s Nicholas Moreano also appeared on the show to discuss the Quinn trade along with the Bears’ dominant play against the Patriots.
Larry Hawley covers all of these topics on this episode of “The 9-Yard Line,” and you can watch the full show in the video above.
