(NEXSTAR) – Saturday’s Powerball drawing marked the 37th straight drawing without a jackpot winner, bringing the top prize to roughly $1 billion before Monday’s drawing.

This is only the second time in lottery history that the jackpot has reached $1 billion, according to reports Powerball.

Saturday’s numbers were the white balls 19, 31, 40, 46, 57 and the red Powerball 23. Six tickets (one each in Maryland and Texas and two each in California and Michigan) won $1 million in prizes after matching all five white balls. The Florida ticket matched all five white balls and, thanks to the Power Play feature, won the $2 million prize.

Monday’s estimated $1 billion jackpot was the fifth-largest jackpot in U.S. history and the second-largest Powerball jackpot.

The Powerball jackpot hasn’t been hit since early August, when a ticket in Pennsylvania won $206.9 million. In January, winners in California and Wisconsin split the $632.6 million Powerball jackpot.

Just like last week, the Powerball jackpot is likely to grow again before Monday night’s drawing. Powerball jackpot last Sunday reached 610 million dollars and grew another 15 million dollars before the next day’s draw.

If you’re lucky enough to hit the jackpot on Halloween, you can get your pot as an annuity (30 installments over 29 years) or as a lump sum. According to Powerball, the jackpot is worth $497.3 million.

Your odds of winning overall are 1 in 24.9 and your odds of hitting the jackpot are 1 in 292.2 million. There is some numbers that can increase your chances on the Powerball prize, however.

Powerball played in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands. Tickets are $2 per game and drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 PM ET.
