A supermarket employee in Portland got stuck in a meat tenderizer
PORTLAND, OR (COINE) — An employee at a local grocery store in Portland, Oregon, is being treated after becoming stuck in a meat tenderizer Thursday, according to Portland Fire & Rescue.
Officials say four fingers on the victim’s right hand were crushed by the car up to the second joint.
Portland Fire Rescue personnel reportedly used an angle grinder to make a relief cut in the softener, which helped them force open the car to remove the victim’s hand.
The victim was then taken to Oregon Health & Science Trauma Center.
