Elmhurst police and the FBI are searching for two bank robbery suspects

ELMHURST, IL — Elmhurst Police and the FBI are searching for two suspects who robbed a bank Monday afternoon.

One suspect presented a note to a teller at Elmhurst-Wintrust Bank, 115 West Third Street, around 4:40 p.m. and demanded cash, according to a news release Elmhurst the police The second suspect served as a lookout.

The suspect with the note made it clear he had a weapon but did not display it, police said.

The two suspects made off with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.

One man was described as 20 to 30 years old, about 6 feet tall, with a medium build, wearing a blue Nike hoodie, dark pants and black gloves, police said.

The second man was described as 20 to 40 years old, 6 feet tall, with a heavy build, and was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, a surgical mask and black pants, police said.
