iVvy accelerates growth of its location management platform in North America |
Since announcing its first US launch in 2017 and UK launch in 2019, iVvy, an Australian global provider of cloud-based events and event management software, has brought a number of global brands and iconic venues to its platform. The company believes that sites across North America and the UK are ripe for disruption, and sites around the world are looking more than ever for new ways to improve processes and achieve real business results.
Providing hotels, restaurants, stadiums and universities with an integrated revenue management and distribution platform, iVvy provides venue operators with the tools they need to manage event inquiries and logistics on any device, anywhere in the world. With improved reporting and analytics, Venues provide better visibility to their business to get group rooms, meeting and event spaces to maximize revenue.
As part of its expansion plan, iVvy has hired a number of key employees to further develop its operations in the US. These include two new vice presidents of sales, as well as a new chief operating officer.
Jennifer Barbosa (Hollister, CA) and Brian Knapp (Chicago, IL) join iVvy’s global sales force as part of iVvy’s continued North American presence and investment. Drawing on 15 years of hospitality management experience, Jennifer Barbosa believes iVvy is exciting for what it can bring to American venues as it transforms and streamlines their management. “Coming from the industry, iVvy is very exciting to me as a product that can streamline the entire venue and event booking process for both the venue and the customer,” she said. “I’m very excited to see how iVvy is benefiting from how the venues operate and grow their businesses.”
iVvy’s new COO, David Rose, is a seasoned technology executive with over 20 years of experience in a variety of business sectors. He brings this experience to the iVvy management team, adding to an already very experienced team. “I am very excited to be joining us at a time when we are renewing our entry into the US market with significant investment in improving our products and growing our team in the US,” he said.
With offices in five countries and a global team providing support 24 hours a day, the software offers scalable solutions that address the key challenges facing the travel, MICE and events industry. iVvy continues to serve the world’s leading hotel groups, major corporations, travel companies, governments, associations, stadiums, universities and non-profit organizations.
