Monday marks one year since the tragedy at the Waukesha parade
VAKESHA, Wisk. – Monday marks the one-year anniversary of the Waukesha Christmas parade tragedy that left six dead and dozens injured. The city of Waukesha a ceremony honoring the dead will take place.
The ceremony is due to start on Monday afternoon at 16:39, the exact time of the tragedy last year.
At the end of the ceremony, Waukesha’s mayor asks the community to “turn the city blue” with blue lights near their homes and businesses. Flags will be flown over Wisconsin.
Last week, a man driving an SUV was sentenced to life in prison prison with our parole.
