Tom DeLonge’s ‘California Monsters’ Directorial Debut Gets North American Deal, Foresight to Sell at AFM – Deadline

EXCLUSIVE: Screen Media has acquired worldwide rights to California monstersthe upcoming sci-fi adventure film that will be the directorial debut of Blink-182 lead singer and guitarist, Tom DeLongewho also wrote and performed original music for the film.

Screen Media will produce in North America and handle international sales through its Foresight Unlimited division ASM.

California monsters co-written by DeLonge and Ian Miller and produced by DeLonge’s To The Stars Media with Stan Spry and Eric Scott Woods of Cartel Pictures (Creepshow).

The film stars Jack Samson (Zodiac), Kamila Kostek (Free guy), Casper Van Dien (Rescue Marines), Richard Kind (The observer) and Arianna Zucker (Days of our lives). The photo shows how teenager Dallas Edwards and his abandoned friends search for meaning in a series of mysterious paranormal events in Southern California.

DeLonge recently announced his return to multi-platinum rock band Blink-182, as well as a new album and world tour with Live Nation.

The deal was brokered by Needle on behalf of Screen Media and Stan Spry on behalf of Cartel.
